Summer Park Dates

We are delighted to offer an informal opportunity for newly enrolling, returning and alumni families to visit and play together.

Tuesdays at 10:00 a.m.
Many families stay for a picnic lunch.

June 22     Outdoor play yard at HFP*
June 29th   Sewall Crest Park (SE 31st. Ave. & Market St.)
July 6th   Piccolo Park (SE 26th & Division)

July 13th  Outdoor play yard at HFP* for 2010-2011 enrolled students.
This is an opportunity for our Fall classes to play and mingle.

July 13th Sewall Crest Park for alumni students. This is an opportunity for students heading to kindergarten, or moving on to other preschool programs, to play and mingle.

July 20th  Berkley Park (SE 39th Ave. & Bybee-playground     off of SE 36th)
July 27th  Laurelhurst Park (SE 39th Ave. and SE Oak St.)
Aug. 3  Woodstock Park (SE 46th & Steele)

* HFP play yard dates are an opportunity to play outside together. Classrooms are closed in the summer, but bathrooms are available. We are pleased to provide a rich nature playscape. You can help us maintain it, by assisting your child in keeping the sensory materials in their distinct areas: sand stays in the sand area, wood chips stay with wood chips, and gravel stays in the gravel area.

* Note that it may make sense to invite a group of children to play in the adjacent grassy area if the play yard gets crowded or overstimulating.

* HFP play yard needs to be watered at each HFP “park” date.
